Not much...

So, there's not much going on here.   We have just been up to life as usual.  The kids are enjoying school and their friends there.  They come home and tell me all of their friends names and what they did that day!!!  They are really growing up so fast.  Aden still asks me on an almost daily basis when he gets to go to school with his brothers.  I keep telling him "in August".  It cannot come soon enough for him.  We are really enjoying being around so much family.  And every day I am grateful to have such wonderful parents and siblings!!  They truly are the best.
I went to the church dry pack cannery yesterday.  It was my second time.  It is a really great experience.  No one complains or stands around waiting for someone else to do the work.  Everyone just pitches in and gets it done.  It is actually fun.  I am working on getting our food storage built up.  I am also trying to think of recipes that I will be able to make out of the stuff I am canning.  What's the use of having a food storage if you can't create a meal??  So, next on my list to can is:  baby carrots, peas, corn, potatoes and beef.  I want to be able to make stew.  But, it is better if you can all of the ingredients separate (because they all pressure at different pounds).  So, that's what I will be tackling next.
The never-ending to do list...
clean out and organize basement, so I can finally retrieve my stuff from storage
paint (there are some scary colors going on down there)
start canning again
start working out again!!
Time to get started!!!  Wish me luck!

Veggies, here we come. Soon I hope. I am slacking for the last 3 days, don't want to take my nightgown off to get dressed. If I could just get the guilt out of my head, I think catatonic would be looking good. I better get up and do something today. Good thing you are motivated so I can be inspired.

Oh, food storage. I really need to get on it. One of my goals this year. It just feels so overwhelming so I avoid it. You are motivating me to do it, though. The pics from your dunes trip are so cool! I like the one of everyone on their quads at the top of the hill. Good luck with your list!

Hey Jade, I am so out of the loop, I didn't even know that you guys moved back to the valley. Dawn told me when I saw her a couple of weeks ago. Sounds like you are keeping busy. I love canning, I need to get busy also. Keep in touch.
